How He Loves Us

Well, we are wrapping up our Sola Scriptura month and it has been so super cool to look at the Bible and see how truly important it is and how much we need it to live as Christians.  Remember, God wants us to have a relationship with Him and know Him.  He has given us that opportunity through His Son and Scripture.  He did that because of His immense love for us.  Here is the video we made about that.

I Fight Authority-Authority Always Wins

Last week we looked at how we are not supposed to conform to the patterns of the world but to the pattern of Jesus.  We  looked at how the world looks at authority figures and how different it is compared to the way that our Savior did.  It is such an amazing thing to know that Jesus followed the will of the Father and died on the cross for our sins.  Here is the video that kicked off that message.  I hope by watching this we can see how ridiculous we can look when we don’t listen to the people that have authority in our lives.

Senior High Winter Retreat

 When: Jan 23rd – 24th

Cost: $130.00

• We will meet at the church at 8:30 Saturday Morning. 
• If you want to go and do not want to ski, talk to Justin about cost and write non-skier beside your name when signing up.
• You will need money for lunch & dinner Saturday and dinner on Sunday.

Game Night

Hey everyone, remember that this Saturday night, October 10th, we are having a game night for the Senior High Student Ministry.  There are going to be tons of different games to play.  We will have tons of video game systems hooked up all around the fellowship hall.  We will have a Wii on the big screen for me to show my Mario Kart domination over all those who might want to challenge me.  We will have games where you can have your LAN ? tournaments.  We will have tons of board games set out througout the tables.  Apples to Apples, Rook (Randa and Jordan taking on Justin and Megan).  Anything and everything that you can think of.  Just a fun night of hanging out so you guys can all get together and relax and have fun.  From 7-10:30 in the fellowship hall.  We will have a bunch of snacks, but you probably want to eat dinner before you get here.  This is open to whomever you want to be there.  Hope to see everyone there.

Field of Dreams

Sorry it has taken me so long to get some video of the Fall Retreat up.  I have finally figured out to configure everything so get ready to be flooded with it.  We shall start by the flood of shaving cream that was used in battle on Saturday night.
