Harvest Day is Sunday, October 28th. Harvest Day is the day we celebrate our church’s birthday, this year we turn 172! We will only have one service on Sunday at 11:00. After worship there is a free lunch with tons of awesome desserts. This is just a great chance to hang out and relax with everyone. That night there will be no youth activities (youth choir, hand bells, or community groups). Instead, Matthew Smith will be at Salem in concert. This will be a great worship experience and we want to have as many people there as possible. You can buy tickets here for $5 or you can buy them at the door for $8. Hope to see you there!
We are so excited to start up a new series simply titled Holy. We will be looking at the command “Be holy for I am holy”. We will talk about what it means to be holy, how we can be holy, how to live a holy life and why we should try and follow this very tough command. Make sure you are in the chapel Wednesday nights in November, you don’t want to miss this!
Starting this Wednesday in our Senior High group we will be beginning a new study titled Church as it Should Be. We will be taking a look back at the early church and checking in on how we are doing as a youth group – asking questions like; Is our focus on Jesus?, Are we living in unity? How is our endurance? and more. Come join us this Wednesday at 6:35 and bring a friend!
